2012 High School Senior Convocations

Graduation season is upon us once again, and with the Charles County High School Senior Convocation ceremonies this week, I once again had the opportunity to make presentations to the recipients of my Maryland General Assembly Delegate Scholarship Program. It is always a thrill for me to help young adults reach their goals and dreams, and so I thank our six area high schools for allowing me to be a part of their special night celebrating these students. Congratulations to all the awardees who received honors and scholarships during the ceremonies, but also to the parents, guardians, and teachers who helped to bring about these milestones. Every child needs help and guidance as they grow to adulthood, and I commend you for all your efforts.
