Robert Beall was recognized by the House of Delegates for winning the Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest for 2009. The Waldorf artist has been competing for twenty-seven years and has been a finalist several times. His winning painting is a wigeon with a powder blue beak and white forehead. This painting will be used on the duck stamp officially called the U.S. Migratory Bird hunting and Conservation Stamp.
We are all proud that he is a Charles County resident and certainly deserves this honor.
