It’s great to have support from friends when you’re in the midst of campaign season! This Labor Day weekend, Ed and Barbara Mohler opened their home to sponsor a meet & greet for me, Frank Lancaster (Orphan’s Court Judge), and Sherri Hancock (Clerk of the Court) as we come to the home stretch in our campaigns. No one gets into office without the tremendous assistance from helpful supporters like the Mohler’s. Their bountiful hospitality and fellowship made us all feel welcome and I was gratified to spend time talking to the guests about their issues of concern.
Whether expressing opinions on state or county matters, we citizens all want to make this the best place to live, go to school, and work for our families. We can begin by voting in the primaries and general elections for the candidates we want to represent us in government. The Early Voting for the primaries has begun already and continues through Thursday, September 9. Tuesday, September 14 is the official Election Day so please don’t forget to exercise your voting privilege.
