Today, on this beautiful sunny Saturday, I had the privilege of emceeing the 38th Annual Maryland Special Olympics Spring Games in Charles County at Lackey High School. The featured sports for the particpants were swimming, bocce ball, and track and field. These athletes make this one of the most enjoyable events that I attend each year. They are always so happy to be part of the competition and have such joy in seeing their fellow competitors succeed. We can all be inspired by the efforts of theseĀ Special Olympics Athletes.
